Hi, I’m so thrilled to meet you!

It might sound a bit cliché, but I’ve been drawing since I was a kid. As paper was always scarce in my family, I often doodled in every space I could cram in, including my school textbooks, the backs of calendars, or on scraps. I have always found stories to be my escape and a tool for connecting with others.

Finding my way into the publishing world, I’ve been working on children’s books since 2012. It started with local Indonesian publishers before I gradually extended my work more broadly.
After years of illustrating either a client’s work or someone else’s story, in 2023 I finally had my debut as an author-illustrator book: SPICY SPICY HOT! published by Little Brown. Since then, I have consistently written and illustrated my own stories alongside those of other authors.

I’m inspired by nature, animals, alley roads, windows, old or rusty and peculiar things, and I could go on.

When I’m not making up stories or art, you would find me staring at the trees, daydreaming, doodling bears, or listening to morbid documentaries or podcasts.
I was born and lived in Indonesia before moving to Austria in 2018.
