Hi, I am Lenny Wen, an illustrator and author of children’s books.

Lenny Wen is a children’s book author and illustrator born and raised in Indonesia. Since she was a kid, she loved nothing more than telling stories with her drawings and filling out papers—including her school textbooks—with doodles.

She has illustrated books such as Linda Sue Park’s SMILING EYES and Megan McDonald’s FAIRY DOOR DIARIES series. She also wrote and illustrated her own books, such as SPICY SPICY HOT! and WOLFGANG IN THE MEADOW.

When she’s not drawing or writing, you can find her staring at trees, watching true crime documentaries, doodling bears, or walking in the woods with her familiar. She currently lives in the countryside of Austria.
